Sprint Ad Campaign shows 4G iPhone

Apple is going to reveal its new iPhone at WWDC 2010 this year. The name of upcoming iPhone is not confirmed yet, but some sources suggest that it would be named as iPhone 4G or iPhone HD.

Whatever may be the name of the phone it will surely have advanced features like 4G network support. Sprint has released an advertisement in which they have shown an Overdrive 4G mobile hotspot. This device basically provides 4G network connectivity to mobile phones.

Windows Phone 7 Emulator Unlocked

Windows Phone 7 At MIX10, Microsoft officially released development tools for Windows Phone 7 series. These tools basically allow developers to understand the OS and build innovative apps for it.

Microsoft has provided the ROM image in the emulator CTP, which is locked for full fledge access. But now, Dan Ardelean of Mobile Development, has successfully unlocked the Windows Phone 7 ROM image.

HTC Hero HTC has been working on Android 2.1 since last few months and have slowly started to send these updates to some old Android based devices.

HTC Hero users are also waiting to get Android 2.1 on their phones. The good news is Hero might get Android 2.1 upgrade in April end. A Modaco forum member contacted to HTC to get more information on the upcoming upgrade and he received a positive reply from HTC support team.

HTC HD3 Concept HTC HD2 users are quite unhappy these days as they will not receive Windows Phone 7 upgrade from Microsoft. HTC has also confirmed the same thing few weeks back and now people are looking out for alternatives.

There are no hopes for HTC HD2 users, unless developers release any Windows Phone upgrade for the device. However, new concept pictures of HTC HD3 have already started surfacing on Internet.

Watch MIX10 Event Live Online

Microsoft Microsoft’s MIX10, a 3 day annual conference, is scheduled between 15th and 17th March. The official event will start at 9 AM P.D.T. in Las Vegas.

Bill Buxton, Scott Guthrie, Dean Hachamovitch and Joe Belfiore will start the event with their keynotes. The highlights of the event are IE9, Silverlight 4, Windows Live Wave 4 and of course, Windows Phone 7!
