Last week we informed you about how to find popular topics on Wikipedia. After that, we received several requests to write about any tool to find beautiful websites where users can learn about latest trends in web designs. Well, I don’t have any idea about such a tool (please let me know if you do!). And I’m not sure if such a tool exists at all. Even if something of this sort pops up, it’ll be bombarded with sponsored website links 
.
However, a quick scan through my bookmarks list (did I tell you how much I love delicious?) gave me some idea about this. And here is where to find inspiration for exciting web designs. If you are a css geek like me, you should be searching for design inspiration the first thing every morning. And these are the places I land up mostly at -
1. CSS Mania
It has to be my favorite. This website showcases various beautifully designed web2.0 websites worldwide. What I like most about this site is the way they mark (COPY) on the screenshots of ripped designs. There was a day when I was contacted by Gabriel (founder of CSSMANIA) to become an editor for CSSMANIA, but that’s a different story
2. Deviant Art
Well Deviant Art is not exactly a web gallery whatsoever, but if you scan through, you can find enough food for inspiration to create beautiful web designs.
3. Best Web Gallery
This is another CSS gallery showcasing beautiful websites. But it chooses the listed websites very carefully. Very tough to get into the list, really!
4. A List Apart
This is one of the very few no-nonsense websites I’ve seen around. No images, No ads, No promotions, No gimmicks! Pure knowledge juice. The topic range from simple css design to high level coding.
5. Smashing Magazine
Honestly, I don’t know anyone who hasn’t visited Smashing Magazine at least a couple of times in their life. It receives a few million hits per month, and at least a dozen time from my machine everyday!
6. 9rules
This networks inspires web designers and developers more than any other website. Champs like Think Artificial and Never Happen are part of the network.
7. CSS Remix
Another CSS gallery. But what I like about CSS Remix is the fact that, unlike any other CSS galleries, they keep updating their own website design regularly, at random intervals. And every time, there is something special in the new design.
8. We Love WP
It is a CSS gallery dedicated to wordpress designs. Personally I am a hardcore wordpress fan (Yeah!), so it is a star in my list 
9. CSS Zen Garden
One word – Genius! Visit the site and you’ll come to know what I mean. In the past years, it has inspired hundreds of thousands of designers worldwide and still continue to do so. The power of CSS unleashed!
10. Net Tuts
Net Tuts is another gem from the makers of PSDTUTS and TUTSPLUS. It is a one stop place for thousands of web design resources on the internet.
Well these sites are in no particular order and each one is my personal favorite. Each one of the above listed sites inspired me in one way or the other. Hope you find this list useful. If I missed something, please let me know using the comment form below!
