How do you install Tumblelog? Whenever I click it, it just offers to blog this page to my tumblr account. That’s not very helpful.

You should have at least checked the date of this article. This Google Chrome Plugins list was written much before the actual release of official extensions, and I used the word “Plugins” because it was much familiar to the people who had used Mozilla Firefox in the past.

As far as Chrome’s popularity is concerned, you should read this page – http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Google_Chrome

Just because you like some other browser, you can’t deny the fact that other browsers are also progressing and improving in different aspects.

Most of these items are not plugins at all. For the record this is a list of toys known as “extensions”.

If you want to list “popular plugins” you should start with:

- Adobe Reader plugin*
- Flash plugin*
- Java plugin*
- Windows media Player plugin*

* browser plugins for Mozilla browser clones

Also, “As we all know, Google Chrome is one of the most used browsing software”… this is not true at all. Some people who do not know the difference between a hacked browser and propaganda have been misled to think that Chrome is better than any other web browser. It’s not commonly used at all, and until version 10 it had more bugs than you can ever imagine.
