Yes! This is happening first time in Maharashtra; junior College admissions(FYJC) going online. After so many years, the state government has taken a great step to make admission procedure simpler and much easier.
The world is getting smaller and smaller with the help of technology then why to stand in those long queues for admission procedure and waste your entire day or so? It seems to be over this year! You can use a special website created by the State government. Website is yet to be launched but here is the name of it, www.mumbaiapplication.com
Students can use this “online admission” facility to take admission for the next academic year. The online admission facility is available to all the colleges affiliated to Mumbai University.
Those who want to take admission to first year junior college via online website, should register online, choose the college of their choice and pay the application fees online, or using mobile phones. Even though this online admission procedure started this year, students can go through the process of manual admissions as it happens regularly.
Now hopefully all the mess happens during the admission period will come to the end this year and students and their parents can take a sigh of relief. ![]()
