How to Extend Windows 7 Trial Period Upto 90 Days?

by Harshad on November 6, 2008

Windows 7 Pre-beta build has trial period of 30 days and after that it gets expired. We can’t activate Windows 7 without an activation key, but we can extend the trial period upto 90 days.

We can use the same hack that many users have used to reset activation expiry date twice in Windows Vista Pre-beta and it also works for Windows 7.

Steps to extend Windows 7 trial period

  • Download Windows 7 Pre-beta from any of the following links and burn the ISO to a DVD.

Mininova | Despositfiles | Piratebay ]

  • Install Windows 7 Pre-beta using the DVD, but don’t put any activation key while installation process.
  • Open Command Prompt after installation process is complete.
  • Use any of the following commands.

sysprep /generalize or slmgr.vbs –rearm or rundll32 slc.dll,SLReArmWindows

  • Press ‘Enter’ button.
  • Reboot Windows 7 and get another 30 days of free trial.

Please note that this method only works twice so use it according to your need.
