Here it comes! WordPress 2.7 is live and available for download. WordPress 2.7 was about to release on one month before i.e. on 10th November 2008, but due to some beta testing and bug fixing. WordPress 2.7 is named as “Coltrane” for famed jazz Saxophonist, John Coltrane.
WordPress 2.7 has lots of awesome features and improvements. It is a different version than earlier versions of WordPress; it is simple, user-friendly and more importantly faster.
