Earlier today, I have posted about Windows 7 Beta Build 7022 X64 and now it is Windows 7 Beta Build 7048! Its quite surprising thing as two different build got leaked on same day.
However, Windows 7 Beta Build 7048 64-bit has been leaked on sevenforums.com by a forum guy, DiamondNRG. There is another new thing came out from this leakage i.e. 64-bit version got leaked earlier than 32-bit.
Windows 7 Beta Build 7048 64-bit was compiled on February 19, 2009 at 6:45PM and has many major changes including some additional features. Checkout the changes below.
- “Send Feedback” on title bar removed
- “Windows 7 Business” now reads “Windows 7 Professional” in the installation
- Paint icon changed
- Calculator icon changed
- Sticky Notes icon changed
- Windows Media Center receives a version upgrade
- Alt+Tab works with Aero Peek
- 24-39% more icons available on taskbar before scrolling
- Start button changed
- Additional features

You can follow the installation method, which is discussed by the same person on the forum. It doesn’t require .iso, but you should have knowledge of installing 64-bit version before installing this Build.
If you don’t know about installation method then it would be better to wait for official release from Microsoft.
