FYJC Online Admissions 2009

Last year, Maharashtra State Govt. had started an innovative online admission process for state’s students. It was difficult to understand the entire procedure, and hence new admission process failed to make big impact.

Once again, the state education department launched a new website ( http://fyjc.org.in/mumbai ) to kick-start the online admission process. The website has been officially opened for registration.

The application system is available for colleges in Mumbai Metropolitan Region, which includes Mumbai, Thane and Raigad districts. Online admission system doesn’t have option for quotas. However, students in general category (open merit) can apply for admission.

Please download the pre-filled form to get prefect idea about online forms.

Update: Online admission website is now officially available for all students to fill the online form. Just head over to above mentioned site and get registered.

that website is too slow. mumbai should try out other options for online application submissions. they can try http://www.enroller.in/

hey are you sure filled in the right information about your category
or you should see the nearest MKCL centre and the concerned officer of your zone.
Do as early as possible becoz you have time until 20th if dont take admn till tht date u will be out of the admn process.

thanks .i got that..but i m nt from OBC category..mine is OPEN...den wat does Allotted category – OBC means..plz help

I think it's misprinted. Visit to the allotted college and consult with them. I can't help you much in this.
Btw, keep your caste proof and other important documents while visiting the college.

i have been allocated a college under Allotted category - OBC & Original Category - General ..wat does that mean....

When do the online application process start and till when would they continue? What are the submission centres near Andheri East?I am not a resident of Mumbai. So, would I have to give extra documents?

If you are not living in Mumbai then you'll have to submit extra documents with application form. However, just confirm it from any junior college.

They are just making fooool of us....
Just follow our old queue format to get entrance to any college and mind my words it would gonna work.

There is no other site to register online.

Hi All,
I think there is NO direct link to register to the site. But you can click "Forgot Password", there it would ask you about some details loke your yr of passing, seat number etc. after giving valid information, you CAN get your id and password. I hope it work, though it didnt worked for me :(

Yes, you can fill the form.
I don't have any idea about the area restrictions. Just confirm it from any college.
