Morro – The new Free Anti-Virus from Microsoft

by Harshad on June 18, 2009

windows icon Microsoft is working on so many things at this moment, and one of them is the new security product, Microsoft Security Essentials. Microsoft will be releasing it with the upcoming Windows 7 OS.

The Microsoft Security Essentials suite is termed as “Morro” and it will replace the Windows Live OneCare. It will help users to remove trojans, viruses, spywares etc.

It is a free utility, and hence it may not provide all advanced security features. It is a perfect security software for those who can’t purchase premium anti-virus tools.

Microsoft Security Essentials has already been leaked on the internet and now it is available in both, 32 and 64 bit versions. But it is still in initial stage and we won’t recommend you to try on your PC.
