GeoHot has already confirmed the Blacksn0w, unlocking software to unlock baseband 5.11.07 on iPhone 3.1.2 firmware. He is working hard to provide a perfect tool to unlock the current firmware and after lots of efforts, he’s succeeded to run arbitrary code on this baseband.
Today, he has published a video of Blacksn0w running on iPhone, which means that the unlocking tool is in its final stage. In this video, he has also mentioned the release date of Blacksn0w, i.e. 11/04/09. Watch the following video to get an idea about the software.

The above video shows that Blacksn0w is installed using Blackra1n, which was released earlier to jailbreak and unlock iPhone 3.1.2 firmware. GeoHot has once again proved that he’s one of the best jailbreaking and unlocking tool developers in the world.
Now, let’s wait till 4th November to use Blacksn0w on iPhone 3.1.2 firmware.
