Run Windows 7 on iPad Tablet

by Harshad on January 30, 2010

Windows 7 iPad People are still confused about newly revealed Apple’s iPad tablet. It has already been compared with eBook readers, PMPs and other tablet devices.

Many end users (including me) thought that Apple would include full-fledged computer features with its popular media features, but that didn’t happen. Citrix has said that we can run Windows 7 operating system from iPad.

Using a new version of Citrix Receiver software, we could virtually run Windows 7 on Apple tablet. Chris Fleck says -

If your company has XenDesktop or XenApp you will be happy to know you will be able to use your iPad for real work as well. It turns out the 9.7 inch display on the iPad with a 1024×768 screen resolution works great for a full VDI XenDesktop

So, now we just have to wait till Apple iPad gets released in the market. If we get to use Windows 7 from iPad, it will definitely be very useful.

Would you prefer Windows 7, Mac OS X or any other operating system on iPad tablet?

This surely needs to be ReTweeted. By the way I like Windows 7 personally. Most happy with it in spite of it carrying the windows tag.
