Just as everyone was expecting, Apple has released a iOS 4.1 Beta for the developers. The new Beta version doesn’t come along with any new features, and we are not sure whether it will fix the much hyped antenna reception issue.
Many users had reported several problems to Apple team. Perhaps, this major update will fix some of the known bugs in the iPhone firmware.
Note to jailbreakers and unlockers – Stay away from this firmware update as you might brick your iDevice.

The software development kit (SDK) is now available for download at iPhone developer center – Check here.
I’ll update this as soon as I get more information about the release. Please stay tuned for the upcoming updates.
Update:
Apple has included signal bar changes in iOS 4.1, which displays actual signal strength on the device. They have also updated the modem firmware to 02.07.01.
Some developers are reporting that the Death Grip issue is still present on their iOS 4.1 Beta running iPhone 4 devices.
