Foxconn, Apple’s one of the important product suppliers, has reportedly signed a deal with Amazon. According to the unknown sources, Amazon has sent some initial orders to manufacture tablet devices for the company.

Foxconn has been producing the Kindle e-book readers for Amazon and therefore is able to land tablet PC orders also from Amazon, according to sources at the tablet supply chain.
The sources also mentioned that Kindle company has specifically ordered 10.1-inch tablets from Foxconn team, whereas Quanta Computer, another tablet manufacturer, has already started shipping 7-inch tablets to the company.
Digitimes reports that Amazon might launch these tablets during the festive season of this year. It is also being said that 10.1-inch tablets will be available in 2012.
Amazon is known for its efficient Kindle e-book readers in the industry and now, they seem to be planning to enter into the tablet market. Although Apple has captured most of the tablet market at this moment, we can hope a similar product from Foxconn and Amazon team later this year.
