Google releases Android 2.3.2 for Nexus S

Google’s Android team has rolled out a new update, Android 2.3.2, for Nexus S users. The Android 2.3.2 firmware (Build GRH78C) can be downloaded through OTA update.

Android 2.3.2

Google Nexus S is the only phone in the world, which is running on official Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS. Hence, the latest update is applicable for Nexus S phones. If you want to install Android 2.3.2 update on other devices, you’ll have to wait for developers to port it on compatibles phones.

Meanwhile, it’s still unknown whether it brings any new features to the devices. It is being said that Android 2.3.2 is a minor update (600 KB) and fixes SMS bugs, but we haven’t heard anything from Android developer team yet.

If you want to install this update manually on your Nexus S, download the update from following link and rename it to “update.zip”. Copy this file into your SD card and install the update through recovery menu on the phone.
