Android 4.0.3 ICS Update Seeded to Nexus S Users

Google team has just pushed a new firmware update, Android 4.0.3 ICS, to the Nexus S devices.

We’re rolling out Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich, to GSM/UMTS Nexus S devices over the coming month, starting today. Enjoy the tasty update!

As suggested by Android team, this update is only applicable to certain Nexus S phones. So, if you don’t have a compatible device, you might want to wait for the next official announcement from Google.

For those who can’t really wait for the OTA update, download the following firmware file and use the manual update technique to install it on your devices. It’s quite safe to install this update manually on Nexus S, but make sure you have already taken the backup of important files and information.
