At the end, Apple has stopped all the rumors and speculations by giving away invitations of its annual event. The event is going to be held at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts Theater in San Francisco on January 27.
This event is invitation-only and Apple has invited its guests via special e-mail. Its tag line says ‘Come see our latest creation‘, which means we will get to see something new this year.

Apple’s tablet (iSlate) has been rumored throughout the first month of 2010. So, the company might raise the curtain from its much anticipated tablet device. We can also expect the release of next firmware upgrade i.e. iPhone OS 4.0.
These two announcements are almost confirmed by some sources. iPhone 4G (features) is rumored to be launched at WWDC 2010 and Apple may not like to launch two brand new devices at one event. Anyway, let’s just wait for the event day!
