The iPhone 5 launch drama continues…!

This year things are going to be different. This year, Apple’s holding its big iPhone media event closer to home.
Sources close to the company say the demonstration — currently scheduled for Tuesday October 4, a date first reported by AllThingsD — will be held at Apple’s campus in Cupertino, California.
It looks like company’s new CEO, Tim Cook, wants to begin his new inning on their home pitch. On the other hand, previous events have been held at very famous Yerba Buena Center for the Arts. Unfortunately, it is already booked and won’t be available for Apple in the first week of October.
Apple has delayed its iPhone 5 production this year due to several issues at manufacturing level, and that’s why many sources are expecting them to announce the availability of next generation products in the October 4 event. Although all reports, iPhone 5′s leaked cases, hardware leaks and other sources are indirectly confirming the arrival of new device in the market, Apple has not shared any information about its launch plans yet.
If you’re not following the rumors and updates, Apple may launch a new iPod Touch, iPhone 4S and iPhone 5 in the next keynote. The company will probably release iOS 5 update and iCloud service on the same day.
