In today’s report, VR-Zone folks have claimed that Apple is planning to bring advanced version of USB i.e. USB 3.0 to its iMac, MacBook and other Mac computers. Here’s what “the little bird” said -
A lot of people have been disappointed over Apple’s lack of interest in the USB 3.0 standard, but thanks to a little bird, VR-Zone has heard that the company is still looking at USB 3.0 as a potential feature to add on future products. As to when and how this might happen is not something we know, but from our understanding it’ll happen before Intel integrates USB 3.0 support into its chipsets.
Apple’s all computers are known for their amazing hardware specifications, and the company has also been providing one or two advanced features in new systems. In recent lineups, they had included thunderbolt ports and now it looks like USB 3.0 will be featured on Macs.
Intel has been working on the same technology, but it’s not going to arrive soon in the market. On the other hand, Apple is reportedly talking with other manufacturers who can develop USB 3.0 compatible chipsets for the upcoming computers.
Apple will not launch new Macs until next year, so there is no point in waiting for this technology. If you are planning to buy a new Mac this year, just wait for the holiday season as you might get some cool offers on Macs.
