Apple is the Most Admired Company in the World – Fortune Magazine

Apple LogoGreat news for Apple lovers, fanboys and investors! Fortune, the popular magazine, has named Apple as the most admired company in the world.

An excerpt from the official blog -

For the fourth straight year, Apple tops Fortune’s Most Admired list. The company’s blistering pace of new product releases has continued to set the bar high for tech companies across the board.

In this list of popular companies, Apple has ranked above many tech companies such as Google (rank 2), Amazon (rank 7), Microsoft (rank 9), IBM (rank 12) and Intel (rank 32). Of course, there is no need to surprise with these results as Apple has a proven track record of successful products.

Last year, the company unveiled the iPad, iPhone 4 and iPod Touch 4, and these products have already set landmarks for different manufacturer companies. Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7 OS and Google’s Android OS have been performing well, but Apple’s iOS is much ahead in terms of quality. Recently, they have announced iOS based iPhone 4 for Verizon, which will again bring more profit to the company in the future.

Yesterday, they have launched upgraded version of iPad i.e. iPad 2 for users and it will ship from March 11. And, if we believe on rumors and the history of Apple’s schedule, they will introduce iPhone 5 and iPod Touch 5 this year. So, Apple’s future seems very bright at this moment and we hope that their CEO Steve Jobs recovers soon to make more public appearances in upcoming events.
