The Apple iPhone 4 is not the only one setting the sales chart on fire. The Apple iPad has also been selling like hot cakes. The Apple iPhone got more than 600,000 pre-orders in a single day forcing Apple to postpone the shipping date to July.
Now Apple has just announced in a press release that they have managed to sell 3 million iPads in 80 days.

“People are loving iPad as it becomes a part of their daily lives,” said Steve Jobs, Apple’s CEO. “We’re working hard to get this magical product into the hands of even more people around the world, including those in nine more countries next month.”
Apple is already struggling to meet the demand of the iPad, and it is supposed to launch them in nine more countries next month. The list of countries includes Austria, Belgium, Hong Kong, Ireland, Mexico, Luxembourg, New Zealand and Singapore.
