Apple ships more than 2 Million iPads in Less Than 60 Days!


Apple in a press release today announced that they have managed to sell more than 2 million iPads in less than 60 days. It was on May 28, that Apple iPad was made available internationally.

“Customers around the world are experiencing the magic of iPad, and seem to be loving it as much as we do,” said Steve Jobs, Apple’s CEO. “We appreciate their patience, and are working hard to build enough iPads for everyone.”

The Apple iPad is slated to launch in nine more countries including Austria, Hong Kong, Ireland, Mexico and Belgium from the month of July. Apple also said in the press release, that already more than 5000 applications are available for the iPad.

Selling more than 2 million devices in less than 60 days, and that also when the iPad was launched internationally on 28 May is quite a huge feat. Kudos to Apple for this!
