iPhone Dev team is back in action once again! The team has been working on Apple TV jailbreak tool called SHAtter. This tool basically allows users to gain the root access of the device.
SHAtter exploit is said to be used to jailbreak all iOS devices for life. The new exploit can not be fixed with software update and will require hardware revision to fix the bugs. Once users jailbreak Apple TV using SHAtter tool, they will be free to install any third party app on it.
The following video shows that the Dev team has successfully jailbroken the Apple TV 2G with SHAtter.
It might take more time for the final release of the SHAtter tool, as it is still in early development stage.
