It was just a few days ago that we had reported you people about the leaked upcoming Apple 13-inch MacBook. Today, Apple has officially unveiled the new entry-level MacBook.
The new MacBook features an Intel Core 2 Duo processor running at 2.4GHz, along with 2 GB of DDR3 RAM and 250GB of storage space. The older MacBook used the NVIDIA 9400M graphics card, which has now been replaced by the integrated NVIDIA GeForce 320M graphics card.

Apple has also bumped the battery life of the new MacBook to up to 10 hours. The new MacBook also features a large glass based multi-touch trackpad. The new entry-level MacBook specification is similar to the entry-level MacBook Pro except it lacks a few enhanced hardware features.
These features include the unibody aluminum build, Firewire 800 port, inbuilt SD card reader and a backlit keyboard. Even though the specification of the new MacBook has been bumped up, it still costs the same $999.
