Apple’s iPhone 5 Event Set for September 7th [Rumor]

Another day, another rumor! Kodwarsian, a Japanese website, claims that Apple is going to hold a media event on September 7th.

As we have noticed in the past, Apple usually releases its iPod lineups during this period. But this time, Apple has made some changes in its launch schedule, so we can also expect the much awaited iPhone 5 announcement along with the iPod Touch, iCloud and iOS 5.

We should also note that the company has always held its Fall events in the month of September. Another interesting point is that Microsoft is reportedly planning to release Windows Phone 7.5 update in the next month. If Apple delays the launch event again, its rivals will get a chance to attract more users, and Apple wouldn’t want to lose the market position.
