AT&T announces Android based Dell Aero


AT&T Dell Aero, an android based device, is now set to launch for AT&T customers. There is not much information available on this device yet, but AT&T has confirmed the Dell Aero news in an announcement.

Official Statement from AT&T:

AT&T also will soon unveil an Android-based smartphone the Dell Aero. This will be Dell’s first smartphone available in the U.S., and will feature a new, beautiful custom user interface developed by Dell and AT&T. To learn more about the Dell Aero, visit www.att.com/aero.

Dell Aero looks very similar to Dell Mini 3i, which was launched in China last year. According to AT&T, the hardware specs of Aero will remain same as Mini 3i. CTIA starts tomorrow and we might receive more information on the phone from the company.

Update: Palm Pre Plus and Palm Pixi Plus are also coming to AT&T.
