Apple has finally announced a new update, iOS 4.1, for iOS devices. iPhone and iPod Touch users were facing several issues with iOS 4.0, which was released earlier in WWDC 2010.
Apple team has been testing iOS 4.1 firmware since last month and it will be available in the next week for users. Apart from bug fixes, iOS 4.1 comes with high dynamic range photos, HD video upload over Wi-Fi, TV show rentals and dedicated game center.

Apple had released a firmware update, iOS 4.0.2 and iPad OS 3.2.2, to fix the hole exploited by widely popular JailbreakMe 2.0 tool. The latest firmware update does not allow users to jailbreak their iDevices, which means the next jailbreak tool is the only solution to jailbreak the iOS.

We have been listening to iPhone 3G performance issues on recently launched iOS 4 software, but there is no appropriate fix available for the end users. iPhone 3G was included in the list of iOS 4 compatible phones, and it was expected to run smoothly on the new firmware update.
However, iOS 4 seems to have serious compatibility issues with the iPhone 3G and older devices. Apple had confirmed that they would provide a software fix for the issue, which is still not released.

Apple’s iPhone 4 is not the only victim of antennagate issue! Motorola’s much hyped phone Droid 2 is also showing the symptoms of antenna-fever and the users have already started reporting it to the company.
This time the Droid 2 signal issue seems to be different from what we have heard and seen in iPhone 4 devices. Some Droid 2 users are claiming that the new phone has antenna reception problem and it appears without even touching to the actual device.
