All iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS users are eagerly waiting to try iPhone OS 4.0 on their iPhones. Well, iPhone Dev team is now also ready with the unlock for iPhone 3.1.3 as well as iPhone 4.0.
iPhone Dev team’s member, Musclenerd, has confirmed this news in his Twitter update. Apple’s iPhone 3.1.3 firmware blocks the loop holes required to jailbreak and unlock the firmware.
Anyway, now you don’t have to worry about it. Here’s what Musclenerd said on Twitter -
People still ask, but sure, with both 4.0 & iPhoneHD coming out this month, so too will the 3.1.3/4.0 carrier unlocks

How did you recover it? I didn't manage to recover it by using the new Spirit or BlackRa1n.

We'll have to wait 1-2 days after iOS 4 releases as developers need some time to make final testings.
hmmm going pre order iphone 4…………and if u purchase from apple store ..the phone is unlocked
