iPhone Dev team has been developing a perfect unlock for iPhone 4. At last, the development process has reached to its final stage and the unlock is almost ready to release for public use.
Musclenerd, Dev team member, had confirmed the iPhone 4 unlock before official launch of the device and today we got another update about its progress.

Now, we can expect iPhone 4 unlock release in probably next few weeks. Please note that this unlock is only applicable on iOS 4 running devices and if you use it on Apple’s upcoming firmware update, it might not work perfectly. So, update your device wisely!
As far as jailbreaking of iOS 4 concerned, Sn0wbreeze and PwnageTool are available for limited devices. GeoHot has already announced that he will not release a new jailbreak tool for iOS 4 soon. Let’s hope that Dev team also releases a full-fledged jailbreak tool along with iPhone 4 unlock tool.
