It has been a week now since Google+ for Android came out and met good reception. Apple iPhone users were waiting for their treat and after a pretty long wait, the Google+ app for iPhone and iPod Touch has been approved by Apple. It is available for free download on the App Store.

The Google+ for iPhone app includes Circles, your user stream and Huddle. You can take upload images to Google+ from the app itself. There is a camera integration for that. After a quick update few after its approval, the app now has better support for Huddle and let’s you block unwanted messages.
The performance on the app is said to be better than that of the Android app. Developers who tested it on iOS 5 beta encountered some performance lag. The app also doesn’t support the iPad yet. Google surely must be working on them and we will see a better version before the release of iOS 5.
