Yesterday, iPhone Dev team released an update for PwnageTool users to fix Mac OS X related issues. Some iOS 4.1 jailbreakers had reported Cydia errors while using PwnageTool 4.1 on Mac OS X 10.5.x, but it seems PwnageTool 4.1.1 patch is also not working on these machines.
To fix the issues, Dev team has now released another update PwnageTool 4.1.2. The upgraded version will help you jailbreak all the iOS 4.1 devices – iPod Touch 3G, iPod Touch 4G, iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPad, Apple TV 2G.
Since PwnageTool 4.1.2 is a minor update, you don’t have to repeat the jailbreaking procedure. If you’re having any issues with Cydia and were using Mac OS X 10.5.x, then only you should try this new tool.
