Another Redsn0w update for jailbreakers! iPhone Dev team has released third Beta version of Redsn0w 0.9.6 jailbreak tool. Redsn0w 0.9.6 Beta 3 is now available for Windows and Mac platform.
iPhone Dev team has made some changes to the previous version of Redsn0w to make it compatible with iOS 4.2.1 GM. You may find bugs and errors in Redsn0w 0.9.6 Beta 3, as it’s not developed for the final release. Also, Cydia tool will not support the iOS 4.2.1 based devices.
To make it more easier, Redsn0w 0.9.6b3 now has SSH and SSL support to install different packages. For SSH bundle, download the following file.

Since iPhone Dev team is working on Redsn0w 0.9.6, you should not try it on your devices. Developers and curious folks can use this tool, but do read the guidelines here.
