Microsoft’s Windows 7 team has officially released the first service pack update for Windows 7 desktop operating system. The SP1 update is available on Microsoft Download Center.
The first beta SP1 update was released in July 2010 and RC1 update followed later in October 2010. In last week, the same service pack update was made available to TechNet and MSDN subscribers. Windows 7 SP1 features RemoteFX to provide 3D experience on client computers.
Microsoft had released the official Windows 7 OS in October 2009 and managed to gain awesome response from the users. Now, they have reportedly started working on Windows 7 SP2 and is expected to release later this year or next year in 2012.
Microsoft has confirmed 7601.17514.101119-1850 as final RTM build and users can download it from following download links. The SP1 update can also be downloaded from Windows Update feature provided on the operating system.
