Enable Bookmark Synchronization in Google Chrome

Google Chrome Google Chrome team has released a latest build of Google Chrome 4.0.201.1. The latest update is now available for all Chrome developers.

Google Chrome 4.0.201.1 has a new feature called bookmark synchronization, which allows user to store same set of bookmarks on the system. It also stores them on Google docs to access them easily on web. The bookmark synchronization uses same technology, XMPP, which is included in Google Talk messenger.

In order to enable this feature in Google Chrome, you’ll need to follow few steps. Here’s how you can sync your bookmarks in Google Chrome browser.

Steps to Enable Bookmark Synchronization in Google Chrome

1. Create Google Chrome shortcut on desktop.

2. Right click on Chrome icon and select Properties.

3. Go to Shortcut Tab and Copy-paste following code after “chrome.exe”

4. Apply it and click on Ok.

5. Open Google Chrome. Select “Sync my bookmarks” from Tools menu.

6. It’ll redirect you to sync your Google account with the browser.

7. Enter your account details and get ready to sync it with Google Chrome.
