Fix GreenPois0n Initialized Error [GreenPois0n RC5 iOS 4.2.1 Jailbreak]

Many iPod Touch and iPhone users are facing “GreenPois0n Initialized” error after using GreenPois0n RC5 tool to jailbreak iOS 4.2.1. When we tried GreenPois0n tool for the first time on our Mac system, we found the same error message on iPod Touch 3G.

In case you’re dealing with similar issue, here’s what you need to do to avoid “GreenPois0n Initialized” error. Please note that there is no official solution for this kind of error, and we can’t assure you that following methods will work on your iDevices.

Method 1: Once you see GreenPois0n Initialized error, try to repeat jailbreaking process again and follow all the steps correctly (Don’t leave ‘Home’ button till the end). Please make sure that your Mac’s internet connection is on. [This trick worked for us!]

Method 2: Backup your iDevice on iTunes and install new copy of iOS 4.2.1. Now, use GreenPois0n RC5 again to jailbreak the firmware.

Method 3: Open Terminal on Mac and type “sudo open”; select your GreenPois0n RC5 tool and drag it to terminal screen. It will give you the path of GreenPois0n tool. Press enter and use the tool to jailbreak iOS 4.2.1.
