Yahoo! has been trying to increase its business by providing useful services to users, but unfortunately these services are not very much popular in net users as compared to its competitors’ services. So, now once again they are bringing a new microblogging service, Yahoo! Meme.
Yahoo! Meme is very much similar to hugely popular Twitter service. It has almost all the feature that we use on Twitter. You can share texts, photos, videos and music with other users and each of them have a dedicated category.
Its user interface is really cool and you don’t have to think over its features as they are quite user friendly. A normal internet user can also use this service with an ease. It also offers few default themes to enhance the entire experience.
Twitter Vs Yahoo! Meme
In Twitter, we use ReTweet option to share updates of other users where as in Yahoo! Meme we can use RePost option to do the same. There is no trending topics option available in this service, but it’s easy to find popular updates by just visiting popular link. Adding new friends on Yahoo! Meme is also similar to Twitter. Just click on follow button of your friend’s profile and he/she will be added in your following list.

What makes it different from Twitter is its fast loading speed and simple attractive design. Yahoo! Meme looks promising, but I think they should include more features to attract Twitter users. Twitter has set an example of successful business model and it would be great to see Yahoo! meme competing with them.
Currently, Yahoo! Meme is only invitation based and you’ll require an invitation from its pre users to try it out. I’ve few invitations to give away. If you want to try it, just post a comment in comment section below and I’ll send you an invitation.
If you already are a member of Yahoo! Meme service then you can follow me here. Do share your thoughts on this new service by Yahoo!
Update: I don’t have anymore invitations. Well, till then keep commenting on this post. I’ll share Yahoo! meme invitations on FCFS basis. As soon as I get more invitations, I’ll update this post again.
