Good news for the Android fanboys!
The Android fanboys would definitely get to the celebration mode once they come to hear that the Android OS will take over the Apple’s iPhone in the number of users over the world by the year 2012.
It is quite obvious too! You just have to view it from a wider horizon. The Android operating system is distributed with the phones from so many different device makers including Motorola, HTC and Google, where as Apple is battling this competition single handedly.

Apple has not looked back from the start of the iPhone and has improved a lot in popularity as well as market shares.
Android on the other hand was started when Google acquired a small firm Android Inc. and developed a mobile device platform powered by the Linux kernel, which they marketed to handset makers and carriers on the premise of providing a flexible, upgradeable system.
Google is improving its OS in each update to match the quality standards of Apple iOS. It’s really difficult to predict the future of these two mobile operating systems as both the companies are strong enough to build powerful OS for users.
