At the Google I/O, it was announced by the VP of Chrome Development Sundar Pichai that Google Chrome has got over 160 million downloads worldwide. That is more that double of the previous year’s figure which was around 60 million. Sundar added that with this rate of success, they are morally more dedicated towards providing their users with the speed and stability.

Another great highlight that came along with the astonishing figure was Angry Birds. Angry Birds released a web version of the game which can be accessed through all the browsers, even the Internet Explorer. But there is a treat for the Google Chrome browser users – Angry Birds and Chrome together added new levels and surprises especially for Chrome users. They call the new levels the “Chrome Realm”.
For the gaming and power internet experience, Google also announced the support of 3D features for the Web GL platform, which ultimately makes Angry Birds better on Chrome than on any other browser. Way to go!
