Remember Greasemonkey scripts on Firefox? Firefox users are well aware of these scripts, which add extra support and features to the browser. Now Google, one of the strongest competitors, has enabled the Greasemonkey script on Google Chrome.
Google has recently added extensions support for Google Chrome, and it has got great response from worldwide internet users. With the addition of Greasemonkey user scripts, Google Chrome will definitely become more powerful than other well known browsers.
According to Chromium blog, Google Chrome 4 natively supports these user scripts. Google team has been working on few issues related to this new feature. So, if you try Greasemonkey scripts on current version, you may encounter errors in some of the scripts.
Google Chrome is still a small browser as compared to Internet Explorer and Firefox, but it has started showing many improvements since last few months. If it continues to do so, it will be a good replacement for above mentioned browsers.
