Google has announced two big things today at Google I/O developers’ conference i.e. Android 2.2 and Google TV. Earlier we have reported about Android 2.2 and its new impressive features.
As Google TV’s tag line says ‘TV meets Web, Web meets TV’, their team has seriously worked hard to bring Television features on the Web. Google has not revealed much details about Google TV, but it is expected to include Wi-Fi and HDMI features.

Google TV will have Android OS with Chrome Browser, and will have support for Flash 10.1. It will also be possible to run specific Android market apps on Google TV.
Google has teamed up with Sony, Logitech and Intel to bring Google TV to world users. Google TV will be available in fall 2010.
The arrival of Google TV has certainly raised the competition level for Apple TV and Microsoft’s Media Center. Now, other companies will have to be on their toes to remain on top spot.
