GreenPois0n RC5_2 Guide to jailbreak iOS 4.2.1 on Windows
Requirements:
- iTunes 10.1.2
- GreenPois0n RC5_2 for Windows
- iOS 4.2.1
Steps to follow:
1. Connect your iDevice to iTunes and take a backup on the computer. Close iTunes.
2. Open GreenPois0n RC5_2. Select ‘Prepare to Jailbreak (DFU)’.
3. Follow the steps given on your screen.
Note: Do not release the “Home” button of your iDevice till the end of the process.
4. Click on “Jailbreak” button on your screen and wait for GreenPois0n to complete the jailbreaking process.
5. If you have followed all the steps, you will get “Jailbreak Complete” message. Now, you can release the Home button.
6. Quit the tool. Install Cydia from Loader app.
