iH8sn0w, infamous hacker, has released an updated version of Sn0wbreeze tool to support iPod Touch 2G (MC), iPod Touch 3G and iPhone 3GS (with new bootrom).
iPod Touch 2G (non-MC) and iPhone 3G were working pretty well with Sn0wbreeze 1.6.2, but new release brings additional support to other devices. The newly supported devices will have to follow tethered jailbreak method as there is no new exploit used in Sn0wbreeze 1.7.
As we have seen in Sn0wbreeze 1.7 guide for iPhone 3GS, this guide is also applicable for advanced users and other users will have to wait for proper tool to jailbreak iOS 4 successfully.

Well, the hacker has not posted any new guide to jailbreak iPod Touch 2G (MC) and iPod Touch 3G. I would recommend you to wait for few hours until new guide is released. I’ll update this post with appropriate instructions.
