Along with iPhone users, many iPod Touch users were also waiting for iOS 4.0/4.0.1 jailbreak too. Comex, an iPhone hacker, has now released JailbreakMe 2.0 tool, which can be used to jailbreak iPod Touch 1G, iPod Touch 2G as well as iPod Touch 3G.

Guide to jailbreak iPod Touch 3G iOS 4.0.1 with JailbreakMe 2.0
Requirements:
- iTunes 9.2.1
- iOS 4.0.1 Updated iPod Touch 3G
Steps to follow:
1. Sync your iPod Touch 3G with iTunes 9.2.1.
2. Connect iPod Touch to Wi-Fi connection.
3. Start Safari Browser on iPT 3G, and visit to this link – http://jailbreakme.com/
4. Now, follow the screen instructions for a while.
5. Once the process is finished, you will get the success message on iPod’s screen.
6. Enjoy! Your iPod Touch 3G has been jailbroken.
