How to disable User Account Control In Windows 7?

If you are a Windows 7 user, those user permission pop-ups must be very irritating when you run an application. This is because of the User Account Control feature of Windows 7. It checks whether to allow an application access to your system or not. If you are power user, you know what you doing, the UAC can be very disturbing.

Windows 7, being the most user friendly Windows flagship OS ever, makes dealing with UAC easy too. You can tweak UAC without completely risking your computer by disabling it.

To disable the User Account Control on Windows 7, there is a very easy method. Follow.

Adjust / Disable User Account Control

Type UAC in the Start Menu search bar. Select the “Change User Account Control Settings” under the Control Panel option.

Disable UAC

Now drag the selector to your preference. There are four options present for Alert, High, Moderate, Disable the UAC. Dragging it to the most bottom option disables the UAC. It is recommended to keep it to the second last option, which doesn’t let those dialog boxes pop-up every time and still takes care of your PC permissions.

Disabe UAC

You can change the setting to revert it back using the same method.
