iPhone OS 3.1.3 jailbreaking tools are slowly started appearing on the internet. Sn0wbreeze tool is already available and we might see updated versions of some other popular tools very soon.
If you want to unlock your iPhone, you can use either ultrasn0w or blacksn0w. Both the tools work very smoothly and help unlock the device. In case you don’t know how to operate any of the above tools, you can follow the given tutorial below.
Note: Don’t use following guides on latest 05.12.01 baseband. It’s not compatible with ultrasn0w and blacksn0w.
Unlock iPhone 3.1.3 with Ultrasn0w 0.92
Unlocking iPhone 3.1.3 with ultrasn0w tool is very easy and we can follow same steps which we have used for earlier firmware updates.
Steps to follow:
1. Start Cydia application on iPhone.
2. Select Manage and go to Sources.
3. Now, add given repo by using Edit option.
Repo: http://repo666.ultrasn0w.com
4. Search ultrasn0w on Cydia and install Ultrasn0w 0.92.
5. Restart the iPhone. Your iPhone is now unlocked.
Unlock iPhone 3.1.3 with Blacksn0w
Blacksn0w is another tool for unlocking and you will have to follow almost all the steps used in above tutorial.
Just include blackra1n repo instead of ultrasn0w repo.
Repo: http://blackra1n.com
And, you will have to install Blacksn0w tool in 4th step.

hi.. good day guys.. i had an iphone 3g on 3.1.3 firmware that has 5.12.01.. i have successfully changed it to 3.1.2 but still has a 5.12.01 baseband.. does anyone know how to unlock it? or what tool to use? thanks
downgraded to 3.0 but still cant be unlocked because of baseband 5.12.01..:(:(
how did you manage to downgrade to 3.1.2? which program did you use, snowbreeze or redsn0w, and did you have any problems at all?

they need to update the info, 3.1.3 can be jailbroke, but… can not be unlock if you have modem firmware 5.12… sooo they must change it and let the people know that jailbrake and unlock is not the same…
hey guys you can downgrade with fuzzyband.. just search in cydia fuzzyband and install… then lunch the app and you wil figure it out by yourself cheers
