Microsoft is going to launch its new operating system, Windows 7, in this October and I’m sure everyone is pretty much excited to use it on their system.
As we all know Windows operating systems come with 30 days trial period and after that user need to activate it using a unique serial key. But now we can use Windows 7 for 120 days with the help of Software License Manager (slmgr) tool.
How to Use Windows 7 Free for 120 Days -
Steps to follow:
- Open Command Prompt with Administrator rights.
- Type following command: slmgr –rearm
- Press enter and close the Command Prompt window.
- Restart Windows 7.
That’s it. Now your trial period has been extended and you can use Windows 7 for 30 days more. Use the same above steps when your grace period of 30 days gets over. This trick can be used for 3 times. After 120 days, you’ll have to buy a copy of Windows 7 from Microsoft.
