Hacking attacks on websites is not a new thing to the world, but in recent period hackers have targeted many educational websites. Today, the official website of IIM Ranchi got hacked. (IIMs are one of the most popular and respected business schools in India.)
The hacker has put up an image with a short message to educational authorities of IIM. Have a look at the screenshot of IIM Ranchi website below.
Looking at the above message, it seems that the website is hacked by ex-student of the institute. However, we will have wait till the official confirmation from educational authorities.

Update: After quick replies from my twitter friends, I tried to figure out the whole issue again. And, in my brief research, I found that IIM Ranchi website is NOT hacked by any hacker. The domain has been registered by an unknown user with invalid details. [Check the whois of www.iimranchi.in]
It could not have been hacked by an ex-student…This IIM is yet to open … The very first batch is yet to be admitted…most likely some prakster as the update says…
