iOS 4.1 Announced in Apple Special Event; Releasing Next Week

Apple has finally announced a new update, iOS 4.1, for iOS devices. iPhone and iPod Touch users were facing several issues with iOS 4.0, which was released earlier in WWDC 2010.

Apple team has been testing iOS 4.1 firmware since last month and it will be available in the next week for users. Apart from bug fixes, iOS 4.1 comes with high dynamic range photos, HD video upload over Wi-Fi, TV show rentals and dedicated game center.

Steve Jobs has also announced iOS 4.2 update, which will be coming out later this year in November. Apple is planning to bring printing over Wi-Fi feature in the next iOS firmware. iOS 4.2 will be compatible with iPads. Good thing about these two firmware updates is that they are absolutely free for users.
