iOS 5 Jailbreak Achieved with Limera1n & Tethered Boot

iPhone Dev team has got the initial success in jailbreaking the iOS 5 beta software on iPod Touch devices. iPhone hacker and Dev team member, MuscleNerd, has confirmed iOS 5 jailbreak on Twitter. According to him, iOS 5 jailbreak is developed with the help of GeoHot’s Limera1n exploit and tethered boot.

It’s important to note that the hackers have got the root access within 24 hours of the official announcement. Here’s the screenshot of jailbroken iPod Touch 4G -
