When everyone is waiting for the highly awaited untethered jailbreak for iOS 5+ devices, the hacker, pod2g, has just teased us with an exclusive video of iPhone 4 untethered jailbreaking on iOS 5.0.1.

He has also written a note on his blog, which suggests that this untethered jailbreak is almost ready for the release. However, it won’t work on the new hardware devices i.e. iPad 2 and iPhone 4S.
Earlier this year, Apple had introduced new hardware to patch the known bugs in their system. And now, it has become difficult for jailbreak developers to come up with an untethered solution for such devices, so there is not much choice left than using some tethered jailbreaking tools.
