iPad 3 to be launched in Early 2012 [Report]

Apple enthusiasts might be thinking that their favorite company would announce new iPad 3 tablet later this year, but WSJ has confirmed that Apple will launch its iPad 3 devices in early 2012. Citing the sources familiar with the situation, the website reports that next generation iPad models will have a 2048×1536 Retina display screen.

At this moment, Apple is selling iPad 2 devices with 1024 by 768 resolution, and the upcoming devices are expected to have a better display as compared to old devices.

The sources have also claimed that iPad 3 trial production will begin in the month of October, which will probably continue till the end of this year. Apple has ordered some of the key hardware components from its manufacturers, source said.

Apple may not launch an iPad in the upcoming media event, but there is no need to get disappointed as they might treat everyone with a couple of phones (iPhone 4S and iPhone 5) as well as the fifth generation iPod Touch.
